WHAT'S ONE STORY OR IMPORTANT ASPECT YOU ALWAYS TELL PEOPLE ABOUT YOUR TIME ABROAD?
I think one important thing that I will always share about my time is how easy it is to travel using public transportation. In Europe it is super easy to go places just by foot, however if not possible the trains are everywhere and easy to use. I know for me this was helpful as I did not know much French, it was nice for it to be an easy process.
HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
While abroad I engaged with the local community through putting myself out there. Some ways that I would do this is to take my studies to the local coffee shops and libraires to meet more people in the area. Once I started doing this I was able to get to know regulars and was able to engage with them.
